An ice age has
descended on Cloud Cuckoo Land for the 2012 season, as the theatre
has received a very chilly makeover to welcome some familiar faces
to the park in a new adventure.
The theatre has been
refitted as a 4D Cinema, and is now host to Ice Age: The 4D
Experience. Join Manny, Sid, and all your favourite characters from Ice Age as their adventures come to life in a whole new dimension. When Sid discovers a cluster of eggs, which he adopts as his own, he and his friends are plunged into a prehistoric voyage through the world of the dinosaurs, which they never even knew existed right
beneath their feet. Get up close and personal with old friends and new arrivals alike, as a range of interactive elements brings the audience face-to-face with
ferocious dinosaurs, as the action moves through blizzards, across the ice plains and deep into underground caverns.
As well as their new
show, characters from Ice Age will be out and about on the park to
meet and greet with guests, and for those looking for the ultimate
in cool adventures, two Ice Age suites are being added to the Splash
Landings Hotel to celebrate the new attraction.
