During 2012 the world
of the X Sector becomes even more secretive, as due to the
construction of SW7 both Submission and Enterprise will not operate.
A modern twist on a
traditional big wheel, the Enterprise is likely to spin you into a
whole new world of fun.
The ride starts off with the wheel flat at ground level, with the cars
round the rim, passengers climb aboard all the cars at the same time.
As the ride starts, the wheel spins with ever increasing speed which
forces the cars outwards whilst a large central arm then raises the
wheel until it is operating vertically. If you are at the top you are
upside down. No safety belts just centripetal force keeping you in
your place.
Attraction History
The
Enterprise originally arrived in the park in 1984 in Festival Park (now Ug Land) but was moved to X-sector and re-themed for the 1998 season when Oblivion was opened. It still proves popular and
offers a gentler version of the sort of thrills found in many of
today's major rides such as Submission.
