2002 was a big year for the Spooktacular
at Alton Towers. After the success of the previous years the park took
a big step when they added Terror of the Towers to the events line up.
The Terror of the Towers was a walk
through maze located in the towers, and in a step away from the family
feel of previous events it was a chilling attraction and not for the
faint hearted.
Also for 2002 the
park's Halloween decorations was expanded to once again include the
Towers and Fountains Square. And for younger guests the park also
introduced three Cadbury Spooky Zones:
Eerie Edna's Story Zone in Cred
Street, the Trick or Treatsize Zone in Towers Street and the
Monster Play Zone in Adventure Land.
