The Cred Street Theatre
sat at the top of the Street and is a prominent building within the
area. Over the years the theatre has been the home to a large variety
of different shows, from dancing fountains and magic shows right
through to the Tweenies and Bob the Builder.
For the 2007 season the
theatre was home to ATTV a high paced interactive show where Guests
were invited to attend the filming
of an imaginary TV game show being filmed in the Cred Street Theatre.
At the start of each performance each day, four contestants were picked
from the audience. They then went on to take part in a series of rounds
complete with plenty of flan flinging as well as a gunge tank. Of
course The contestants were helped throughout by energetic hosts,
hilarious sidekicks and the 'studio audience'.
During its time in the theatre two
different ATTV shows ran: the
main season saw ATTV: House of Fun but come the Scarefest the show had
a spooky twist with ATTV's Halloween special which ran from 13th October to 4th November.
All contestants got a ATTV goody bag for taking part, whist there were
fabulous prizes for the winner.
