Alton Towers have tonight unveiled the backstory and name of the 2012 attraction. Nemesis: Sub-Terra will be unleashed in Forbidden Valley on the 24th of March 2012. You can see the new video here:

The video, in the style of the comic which was created alongside the launch of the original Nemesis, the video follows a group of explorers who arrive at Forbidden Valley in the Phalanx tank, which was seen outside the construction site at the end of the 2011 season.

After entering a evil catacomb the group encounter the Nemesis monster as they attempt to escape to the surface and out of the catacombs. The video ends with the reveal of the name 'Nemesis: Sub-Terra' and the 24th of March 2012, the attractions opening date.
