November 9th 2009 : Local Road Closures over Winter
	There will be NO TRAFFIC ALLOWED THROUGH Alton village from 11th November until 14th December approx. This means that you need to avoid coming in on the A50 to Uttoxeter as this takes you to the village. If you are approaching from Stoke on Trent, turn off onto the A52 and follow directions to CHEADLE and then the road signs to Alton Towers Resort If you are approaching from Derby, follow directions to ASHBOURNE on the A52 and then turn off at Cauldon Low for Alton Towers.
