A recent survey released by Merlin Entertainment on their Facebook page suggests that Merlin is looking to revise the current Annual Pass structure yet again for the 2012 season and launch a 3rd higher tiered pass.

The Alton Towers Resort DVD, previously known as YourDay, has now been removed from the park and a new store has opened its in retail location on Towers Street. The new store is called, Resort Box Office.
Alton Towers and Facebook have today announced a partnership which will see the park open a day earlier than planned over February half term and offer free entry to those who check in using Facebook's Places feature.
