Alton Towers has
a whole host of characters who roam the park to make your day more
special. This year, to celebrate the park's 30th Birthday there are
more characters then ever before for you to discover on your journey
around the park.
Whilst many of the characters live in
specific parts of the park, they can often also be found on Towers
Street at various times of the day, such as opening and closing
times.
Share a story or two with Alton
Towers current lovable mascot. Alton Bear can often be found
around Towers Street, when he isn't making one of his regular
appearances at the Hotels. He even has his own Bear Coaster in
Towers Trading.
Lives in: Old MacDonald's Farm
First Arrived: 2009
Little Bo Peep
has lost her sheep, but maybe they're in Old MacDonald's
Farmyard? Join the flock and help in Bo Peep's search around the
most rural parts of Alton Towers
Sharkbait Reef's not the only place
you can find sharks down in Mutiny Bay. Fin the Shark likes to
bask all around the pirate area, but don't worry this friendly
shark won't bite!
Make way for these little old ladies
when they charge through aboard their giant shopping bags. Who
know what they've been buying, but one things for sure, it's
never a dull outing when you got a Mad Ol' Bag tagging along.
The stars of Alton Towers' Pirate
of Sharkbait Reef can be found down in Mutiny Bay, sharing
pirate stories, demonstrating their nautical skills recruiting
fellow pirates.
Sonic has returned to Alton Towers
to take over the park's giant pinball table, with Sonic Spinball
in Adventure Land. Everyone's favourite hedgehog can often be
found roaming around the attraction.
Snorlix the Dragon lives with all
his friends in Sir Algenon's house in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Drop in
to pay him and Lucy a visit as they have magical adventures with
Daryl the Snail and Clarissa the Cockatoo.
You've ridden on his acorns high
above the ground, well now you can meet Squirrel Nutty himself
within the magical forest of Storybook Land. Perhaps you can
even help this Acorn Ranger earn a badge or two during your
visit.
Construction of Alton Towers' latest
attraction disturbed the mysterious Wraiths, guardians of the
burial site deep within the Dark Forest. Now these errie figures
roam through the woodlands day after day. Dare you approach?
